Some of Methuen -Turner’s Secrets… shhh…

Hopefully you will remember that in my previous blog update I mentioned some exciting things were on the horizon for me…. some of them I still need to keep stum about – I do not want to be one of those embarrassing people who say they’re doing this and that and then it doesn’t work out.

However, there are a couple of things I can fill you in on.

1) I am planning on training to be a LAMDA teacher. As you know, I am already a drama lecturer, and a secondary school drama teacher. However I feel this is the next logical step. In theory, you don’t have to train to be a LAMDA teacher. However, I have found people at the playingspace who do a course in it to help me teach LAMDA effectively and that is what I am going to participate in.

2)  I am in the process of obtaining a series of Disney Princess costumes so I can do more meet and greets with my own outfits. I am going to start with Elsa, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Bit chilly at this time of year, but there we go!

What an exciting year for Sophie Methuen-Turner

This is the post excerpt.

Welcome to my blog! I am Sophie Methuen-Turner, an international actor and voiceover artist. I am on Spotlight, and with Mandy. I also have a website- Sophieactor.co.uk.

This year has been excellent. I started off the year with my alter ego, Lacey Drawers and Ace Heartbreaker doing comical magic tricks. Since then I have performed in Hove Grown, Brighton Fringe, joined Acting Moon Events, where I performed several times in Groombridge place, appeared in several short films around England and performed in several murder mysteries. There is SO much more to come- please keep reading for more updates!
